I was born in Honolulu, Hawai'i and raised in as mall town called Kapahulu. Father was a 41 year Army vet of Hawaiian, Filipino decent. My mother worked as a state recorder for the State of Hawaii recorders office, of Hawaiian, Samoan decent. I graduated from St. Louis High School inHonolulu and came to Utah for education and football. I'm a graduate of DixieJunior College and Weber State University in Paramedic medicine. A graduate of the Utah Corrections Academy and the Utah State Police Academy.
I'm married and my wife's name is Kim ,originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming. We have four children, one boy and three girls ranging from 26 to 17 years of age, with my boy being the oldest. We have two grandsons, Kekoa (2), and Kalawaianui (7 months).
